CSW Strijpe Wright Pavement Marking

Leading Solutions in Pavement Marking

Our Strijpe Wright division invests in the latest technologies and training to meet the diverse needs of the pavement marking industry. Our workforce has extensive knowledge and experience in the following forms of pavement markings and removal:

  • Epoxy Pavement Markings provide a durable, two-component marking material consisting of a pigmented resin base and a hardener. Before installation, both components are mixed at a ratio of two parts resin to one part hardener, and applied by a specialized epoxy application truck, in adherence to manufacturer specifications. This material is sprayed and combined with drop-on reflective beads to provide nighttime retroreflectivity.
  • Thermoplastic Pavement Markings are a durable alkyd-based formulation resistant to oils and greases, making this the ideal treatment for behind-the-paver application. We offer ribbon formulation applications (heated and applied by truck or hand-machine), inlaid thermoplastic tape, and preformed thermoplastic markings.
  • Spray Application paints are waterborne low-voc paints. While less durable than epoxy or thermoplastic, these applications are excellent for use as temporary striping and provide an affordable and viable option for low-volume streets and roads.
  • Pavement Marking Tapes are available for both surface and grooved or inlaid applications. These include Removable Tape for temporary markings, Standard 60 mil, Preformed Type I (removable), Preformed Type II (non-removable), and Preformed Type III (intersection grade) tapes.
  • Removal Solutions utilize various removal systems to effectively remove old or temporary marking while creating negligible to minimal “ghosting” to pavement. We utilize grinding, high-pressure water blasting, and grooving both for removal and for surface preparation on new concrete surfaces.
